bwin football-odds from Premier League
We are in a strange period of Premier League at the moment and the last weeks have been really hard to predict the outcome of the games. It has been lots of surprises with the teams with way higher odds as winners.
What can you else say about results like; Chelsea – Everton 1-1, Bolton – Manchester City 3 – 3, Man Utd - Aston Villa 0 – 1, Tottenham – Wolverhampton 0-1 from last weekend or like Burnley – Arsenal 1 – 1 (on Wednesday) or Fulham – Manchester United 3 – 0 and Portsmouth – Liverpool 2 – 0 from this Saturday.
He or she who had predicted these results got insane odds but the question is if anyone at all found these results?
These two weeks has been a might mare for us players and a golden week for the betting company. For a couple of weeks ago I wrote that this period of the year is the toughest and since both Manchester United and Arsenal has lots of injuries it can be hard to win game after game in December and January.
I often say that there is about one or two weeks in every season when most of the top team drops points. But an interesting fact this season is that the top 4 clubs (Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal) already has lost more games totally so far in Premier League then they totally lost hole last season.
And in these hard days I will try to give you my best picks for Sunday’s matches and hopefully expand your Christmas wallet. Here are the games for today and tomorrow:
Wolverhampton Wanderers 2.05 draw 3.20 Burnley 3.75
FC Everton 1.85 draw 3.30 Birmingham City 4.20
West Ham United 8.50 draw 4.50 FC Chelsea 1.35
Wigan Athletic 2.00 draw 3.25 Bolton Wanderers 3.65
Here are my best bets, all the odds is collected from bwin football sportsbetting
Wolverhampton vs Burnely, home win @ 2.05
Wolverhampton’s manager chose to rest all his ordinary players in Tuesdays match against Manchester United at home. That has been much discussed in England if it is “okay” to act like that. My opinion is that it defiantly is okay as long as it benefits your own team.
I think that Wolves had lost against Manchester United anyway and so by resting all his important players he spared them to this vital game.
Burnely are really hard to beat home at Turf More, but in their away-matches they have been more vulnerable. Just like Burnley even Wolverhampton feels way stronger home at Molineux and my feeling is that Wolves have a god chance to win this game thanks to their home advantage and that their player will be more rested then Burnley’s player after their tough game against Arsenal at home on Wednesday.
So I think that the odds (2.05) that is paid for a home win here is worth a shot.
Everton vs Birmingham, home win @ 1.85
Birmingham are on of the strongest team in Premier League at the moment seen to their form, but even Everton has been playing well lately and for example took one point against Chelsea at Stamford Brigde.
Everton had a disaster start of this season but if feels like David Moyce’s team has started to climb up in the table even though it goes slow. They have had a tough schedule lately but played pretty well.
Birmingham stays on five wins in a row and that’s really impressive for the newcomers for this year. Bur some how I think that Everton might win this game. They have lots of players that can win this game to their advantage such as Louis Saha, Marouane Fellaini, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov or maybe Mikel Arteta. All of them are top class players and I think that Everton will give their home crowd on Goodison a nice Christmas present today. 1.85 in odds may feel a bit low to bet against a Birmingham with great form, but I have a feeling for Everton today and pick them as winners today.
West Ham vs Chelsea, over 2,5 goals @ 1.70
I choose to bet on over 2,5 goals here and not 1-x-2. Chelsea is way to big favourites here and if I would pick a outcome in this game it would had been a home win or draw. The odds that Chelsea stands on (1.35) is ridiculous according to me and I would never even be close to bet on that away against West Ham.
But I have a feeling that we will see lots of goals in this game and even though Chelsea might win at the end I think that over 2,5 goals to 1.70 in odds feels way better to bet on. Both these teams have lots of interesting attacking players in their squad.
Wigan Athletic vs Bolton Wanderers, draw @ 3.25
This game is played on Monday and my feeling is that this might be a tough and tight game. Both teams are struggling in the bottom of the table and every point is necessary. Bolton have started to take some points lately and Wigan is one of those teams that is hard to predict.
They can play really good football in their best days and almost beat any team. But at the same time they can loose against any teams as well, so draw feels like a possible outcome in this game, 3.25 in odds is okay.
Good Luck with your Premier League bets, regards
