Champions League Playoff Game 2:2

16 Teams, one match played in the knockout round, one more to go. Then eight total winners will be headed for the qurter finals in the greatest club tournamets of them all, Champions League.

I will give you my best picks of the second games from the first knockout round rematches:

B Munich vs. Sporting, home win @ 1.50

Bayern Munich won the first match with 5 to 0 and dont have to go for a win in this game to advance. Still I think that the German side will win because both team will rest some players in this game. Bayern is a very strong home at Alianzi Arena and their reserv players will probably beat Sportings reserv players.

Liverpool vs. Real Madrid, draw @ 3.30

The mersyside team is champions when they play European tournaments. Something thats hard to understand when I see them play in Premier League. Somehow Rafa BEnitez gets his players to play perfect international football.

Liverpool won the first game away at Madrid with 0 to 1 and will advance to next round if this game ends even. My guess is that Liverpool will manage to get that draw and take a place in the quarter finals, god odds on the draw.

Barcelona vs. Lyon, home win @ 1.35

I just cant see the French team go further in Champions League after 1 – 1 home against Barcelona. They had the lead and a good position, but after the equalizer from Barcelona they go through to the next round if they win this game or if it ends 0 – 0. I dont believe that Lyon can win or play at least 2 – 2 away at Camp new and theirfor I bet Barcelona as winner in this game even though the odds might seem a bit low.

Manchester United vs. Inter Milan, draw @ 3.45

Manchester was the best team in Milano and had several chanses to score. But the game ended goalless.

Even though Manchester United was the better side its hard for me to se how they can pay only 1.65 in return in this game. Inter is Inter and even if the Italian League (Serie A) is way worse then the Premier League they still have Worldclass players in the squad.

Beside that their Manager Jose Mourinho (former Chelsea Manager) know his opponents very well. Thats why I think that Inter can put an end to Sir Alex Furgeson´s plans to win four trophy´s home to Manchester.
